Development Project Coordinator

Who We Are:

Holistic Solutions focuses on implementing and coordinating development projects across various parts of the world (e.g., Zambia, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Bosnia and Herzegovina). We are a small core team based in Brno, working closely with a network of external experts and partners. Our passion and mission are to bring innovative and sustainable solutions to where they are most needed.

What You Can Expect – Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinating multiple development projects simultaneously.

• Daily email communication with project partners and donors in Czech and English.

• Attending online meetings (in Czech and English) under the guidance of the senior project manager.

• Monitoring project deadlines and ensuring the quality of delivered project tasks.

• Regular project progress reporting (usually twice a year).

• Implementation of selected project activities.

• Providing administrative and operational support to the senior project manager.

• Participating in the identification and preparation of new project proposals.

• Occasional attendance at business meetings or events in the Czech Republic (most often in Brno and Prague).

• Opportunity to take part in on-site project implementation (e.g., in Zambia, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Who We Are Looking For – Your Profile:

• Organized and systematic mindset: You naturally keep documents in order and always know where to find what you need.

• Strong time-management and deadline awareness: You can set priorities, efficiently handle multiple tasks, and ensure that all project deadlines are met.

• English proficiency (B2/C1): Active use in written and verbal communication.

• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel: Careful document formatting and ability to work with tables and charts are essential.

• Proactive problem-solving approach: Instead of saying something cannot be done, you actively look for solutions and present your ideas.

• Creativity: You are not afraid to suggest improvements and bring new ideas.

• Interest in global issues and development work: You want to contribute to projects with a positive impact.

• Basic understanding of ecological and social issues worldwide.

• Experience and willingness to learn modern working methods using AI and online tools.

• Minimum secondary school education with a diploma; university degree preferred.
